SWEET! Dessert Exchange. We will have some time together and some break-out time by age-group to plan a few events this for this season. See y’all Sunday!

Let us pray: Almighty God, heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the

joy and care of children: Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as we bring them up, that we may teach them to love

whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

God our Father, you see your children growing up in an unsteady and confusing world: Show them that your ways give more life than the ways of the world, and that following you is better than chasing after selfish goals. Help them to take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance for a new start. Give them strength to hold their faith in you, and to keep alive their joy in your creation; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

BCP Prayers for Children and Young People

Hill Country Flood Support

Let us pray: Loving God, comfort those who mourn, welcome into your loving embrace those who have died, and help us who watch and wait to known the best way to respond in loving action in the days and months to come; guide us by your Holy Spirit to shelter the homeless, lift up the broken hearted, feed those who are hungry, and to serve as Christ has served us; it is in his name we pray. Amen.

In the midst of a celebratory weekend, we started hearing horrifying news from the Texas Hill Country, especially Kerr County all along the Guadalupe River. Many of us know people directly impacted: those rescued from floodwaters, those whose property was destroyed, family members still missing, and sadly, those who have died.
Here are a few ways Trinity is responding:
Respecting the privacy of families by allowing them to share news in their own time; please be mindful of the wishes of families at such a difficult time
This evening we will have a prayer service with songs, readings, prayers, and candle lighting. 5 pm
Tomorrow at church we will take up a special collection to help the flood victims; we will work through our Episcopal network of churches to distribute funds where they are needed. You may donate online:tithely account. Select GUADALUPE RELIEF from the drop down menu.
Tomorrow After our Sunday Service we will have a meeting to begin planning the fundraiser 11ish
Next week (TBD) We will have a fundraiser to support the immediate financial needs most likely Wednesday or ThursdayThank you everyone, I know we all want to be the most help we can for people we love and strangers whose pain we understand in such a difficult time. The level of pastoral need is amplified when there is such a loss of life. Let us pray and prepare to be ready when we are asked for help.
