Days after Harvey hit, we opened the church for prayer. Each day since, we have gathered at 8 a.m. to say daily devotions before getting on with our day’s work. We only missed one Sunday, and had our first Post-Harvey Eucharist on Sunday Sept 3rd at 9 and 11. Trinity has been working with volunteer groups, government, and our diocese to help lead the way forward to recovery. We need your help! Visit our diocesan website to see how you can volunteer. You can also donate there, or send a check to PO Box 346, Port Aransas, TX, 78373 to donate directly to Trinity and our relief efforts. More soon, just know we are open for worship and so much more!
Trinity Sunday is June 11, and we will celebrate with Church on the Beach at 11 a.m. at Marker number 2, between the Horace Caldwell Pier and G Street.
We will serve hot dogs after the service so plan to stay a while!
Please bring a chair to sit in, unless you prefer to sit in the sand. We are requesting that dogs be left at home, since we had a dog fight (literally) at the last service.
(the 9 a.m. service will be in the sanctuary at Trinity, 433 Trojan St.)
I invite you in the name of the observance of a holy Lent, by self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting , and self denial; and by reading and meditating on God’s holy Word… (The Book of Common Prayer, p. 265)
